The 609 homes in High Meadow were built in the mid to late 1990s. Almost all of the homes in the neighborhood are two story homes with basements, though there is a handful of ranch homes in the neighborhood. All the homes have 2 or 3 car garages and range in size from about 2,100 square feet to about 3,500 square feet. And this neighborhood has relatively large lots with most of the lots between ¼ acre and ½ acre in size. There are a number of homes on larger lots of over ½ acre as well. You can also find homes with English basements, with above grade windows, and homes with walkout basements.
There are three parks in / near High Meadow. The High Meadow Park has sports fields and shares play structures with Graham Elementary School. The Southpointe Park has play structures and sports fields. The Riverview Farmstead Preserve is adjacent to the east side of High Meadow with access from Wild Timothy Road or Hassert Boulevard. The Preserve parallels the DuPage River and has short paved and gravel trails. There is also a historic home and barn there as well as a boat ramp; If you kayak from downtown Naperville, the trip usually ends at the Riverview Farmstead Preserve.
High Meadow does not have its own pool and clubhouse but residents are welcome to join the adjacent Southpointe Swim Club (walking distance) or the nearby River Run Club.
The five member High Meadow Homeowners Association Board is responsible for overseeing the business of the HOA, including the maintenance of the perimeter landscaping and entrance signs, as well as community events and neighborhood communication.
